This video was produced with writing teachers in mind. The video begins with a description of the standards addressed in the lesson. At the 4:04 minute marker, the author describes how to use Google Docs in the process of developing a researched informative writing assignment. The video is pretty dry, but the information is worth viewing, especially since it is standards-based.

This 40 minute webinar was produced by a creative writing teacher, and it shows! Catlin Tucker used pops of color and various forms of media to illustrate how students can embed media such as photography, artwork, and videos into their creative writing projects. She explains how her lesson meets four 21st Century criteria: student engagement, technology integration, student reflection and project based learning. I felt inspired when she shared that she used Glogster in her classroom. This is a lengthy video, but it will definitely be my go-to inspiration for future lesson plans.
VIDEO THREE
Teaching Writing in the Digital Age--Series
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r42heXPMXu8
Summary: Found on Youtube.
Created for Curriculum Pathways by Tim McBride and Terry Hardison, this Online Professional Development Series is a fantastic resource for teachers of writing looking to use technology in the classroom. Most videos in the series are about 40 minutes. The series is well-written and easy on the eyes and brain. This will be another resource that I will revisit as I continue to cultivate my writing program.
